Wellness was introduced to the IFBB and NPC shows in 2020. It makes its debut this year in the OCB. Wellness makes it possible for women who have bigger glutes and thighs compete where if they competed in bikini would not have placed well due to this.
They still have to carry a toned upper body, but the glutes, hips, and thighs are more muscular.
Wellness Suits, like bikini, are not connected like figure suits. They can be plain with or without connectors. The bottoms MUST have a v- cut front on the bottom and sit high on the hip. This is know as the Euro Cut bikini.
Poses for this category are
Front; right hand on hip, leg extended, quarter turn to right ;right leg bent, quarter turn to the rear, quarter turn right; left hand on hip, left knee bent.
In my opinion this category would be perfect for those ladies who are more muscular than bikini but too small for figure.
